Building the Book Pile #534

Welcome to Building the Book Pile!

Hi everyone ~ Happy Sunday.

Work, which is supposed to be slowing down a bit for me, isn't ... which is kind of annoying but I guess a good thing because companies being interested in events normally means more jobs for the students. In all that chaos, I am also trying to manage my own anxieties... one being that Cooper cat is still not great. Bloodwork said he was an old cat (he is 20) and that we could biopsy to see what hos bumps are. Sadly I feel like doing that a 20 year old cat to probably tell me he has cancer isn't the best use of his time with us, so now we are just making him comfortable. Sorry for being depressing...

Some fun things from this week - I went to dinner with a friend and we planned a December dinner to chat about best and worst books of 2026. I had chatty time with my bestie because we have been SO busy but finally found some time. The hubs and I had an evening of coloring just cause and took a road trip to look at a cute store that makes/ refurbishes tables for when we are ready to buy a new table.
