With a nephew and my best friend pregnant, I have been really enjoying picking up books for them and reading them before passing them on. Nibbles Numbers is a board book about counting. A little monster names Nibbles runs through the book chomping away at the numbers. The book has little holes through it where Nibbles has eaten the numbers. The story and Nibbles are so cute. The text is in a rhyme scheme and flows really well. I really liked and laughed through Nibbles' jaunt through the book and think that young readers will too.
If you are looking for a book about counting for tiny young readers, this is a fun way to learn, chasing Nibbles through the numbers and book. That silly Nibbles ... he gets into everything.
