Goodreads Synopsis:
This wordless comic book follows the exploits of a backpack-toting adventurer in a quest to find a mysterious treasure. Framed in black, the illustrations offer delightful bursts of color and are sure to entertain readers of any age.
Mini Review:
Like the synopsis notes, this is a wordless comic - so no reading. This book did not need the words though. The story flows as you follow the character on a journey to collect treasures and his encounters along the way. The story starts with black, gray, and white scenes and slowly takes on beautiful vibrant colors as the treasures are collected. The characters are drawn pretty simply but the landscapes and atmospheres are detailed, enveloping and dynamic.

This comic is magical and a fun adventure as you flip the pages - never knowing what is coming next. It was very cute and I think it was very well done. It seems so simple, but there is a very grand story in these pages.
