OMG... I Did It Again?! by Talia Aikens-Nuñez
OMG... I'm A Witch Series

April Appleton wakes up to quite the sight: a herd of elephants marching down her street! She realizes that her powers of witchcraft have done it again. With her friends, Grace and Eve, April must figure out how the elephants got to her town in the first place and then how to get them back home. But with elephants playing in the neighbor's pool, sitting on cars and eating everyone's trees, how will they do it? Early readers will delight in the misadventures of this reluctant witch and her plucky friends as they try to figure out how to use April's powers to do good in the world.

OMG... I Did IT Again?! is a middle grade book that is a pretty short and easy read about a young girl who (in a previous book )found out she is a witch and very strange things keep happening to her. In this installment, April wakes up to find lots of real elephants transplanted into her neighborhood ... oddly after she was dreaming about elephants. She realizes that it is her powers that got them there and needs her friends help to put everything right again

This book was a very quick read and honestly I was a little confused at first. I did not read the first book - entitled OMG...I'm A Witch so I was meeting April and her friends for the first time and there really wasn't a backstory to it. This book jumped right into the plot and ran with it. Not a bad thing for a young reader but I felt like I needed the first book to really 'get' it all.

The book was very cute though and I loved the witch theme this time of year - spooky things are happening ... it's almost Halloween. If you are looking for a fun, fast read for a middle grade reader - these could be just the thing you are looking for.
