With real, folded letters from the Crayons that you can pull from their envelopes and read, games, punch-out ornaments, a poster, and a pop-up tree, this book is the perfect gift for fans of The Day the Crayons Quit and The Day the Crayons Came Home.
Review:
I know that now is the time for getting excited about Halloween, but I also love Christmastime, so when the chance came to pick this book up I jumped at it.
The Crayons' Christmas is adorable and the book is also very interactive for young readers - there are pieces that they can pull out to play with including clothing for crayons, decorations and more.
The story is told about and by the crayons and we learn about trips they have taken and holiday traditions they are participating in, all while also getting Duncan's house ready for the holidays. it is so interesting to see the lives of the crayons and all the fun activities they are interested in and getting to do. I really enjoyed it all.
I have not read the original (I have been meaning to) but this book was so much fun. It has already gotten me into the holiday spirit and I think your young readers will really enjoy it.
