Recent Reads: Potty Training Books with Sound!

Some back-story here, my co-worker's daughter is turning two this week and so potty-training here we come...

She let me read some new books going into the home and here is the verdict.

Review: 
Daniel Tiger's Potty Time! was a hilarious and wonderful book about stopping what you are doing and finding a bath/rest room when you have to potty, even the fun things that you don't want to stop doing. 

Even as a result I think some of us can relate to this... one more email then I will go... but this is great lesson for potty trainees to learn and the sound effects include a little song and flushing and washing hands noises.

Review: 

Elmo's dolly is learning to potty and Elmo is here to help. Luckily Elmo is potty trained so he knows all the steps. This book includes fun noises and lots of Elmo laughter. 

This was a fun book, but I think that Elmo potty training would have been more enticing than David learning to all the kids trying to emulate Elmo.  I also think that parents might run into young children putting their dolls in pottys or swiping at the toilet paper because of the fun sound this book makes to unroll it. Otherwise this was a really fun book and the sounds make it even more exciting to read.
