Goodreads Synopsis:
Every year Tortoise sleeps through winter. He assumes he isn't missing much. However, his friends are determined to prove otherwise! Best-selling author Katy Hudson's charming picture book will convince even the biggest winter grouche that winter can be magical if you have friends by your side.
Review:
This is going to be a wonderful book for the winter time! Parents and kids will enjoy the adorable illustrations and fun winter activities depicted in the scenes. But the grumpy Tortoise is what wins this book. Tortoise just wants to hibernate and he just doesn't like winter, but everyone is having so much fun around him in the snow and cold and he doesn't understand why.
The book is about trying new things and also all the fun things winter can hold I think that this is really a whimsical read and if you are looking for fun things for kids in the colder months to read or to read to them this is a great addition.
