Goodreads Synopsis:
Time after time the Living Lights, Berenstain Bears series has attracted young readers through creative and engaging stories that not only entertain but teach values and life lessons. Now, five of the series’ most loved books are available in a comprehensive bind-up. This Living Lights collection Back to School is sure to be a popular choice for Berenstain Bears readers who have enjoyed the series in the past.
Review:
This Benenstain Bears collection compiles 5 stories including: Jobs Around Town, Get Involved, Love Their Neighbors, Neighbor in Need, and Gossip Gang. Each story has a lesson and they were very cute reads. The Living Lights series teaches lessons and values by including a Bible verse before the story begins and some of them mention God's intention in the story but the book overall is not overwhelmingly religious.

As with all Berenstain Bears books, the images are vivid and interesting and I think young readers will have a wonderful time looking at them while reading or while being read to. There are lots of details for them to point out

I remember reading Berenstain Bears when I was a kid, and I don't recall them being religious books but they could have been and if that is the case, I think that all kids will enjoy this collection regardless of that addition.
