Goodreads Synopsis:
What do you do when you're missing a shoe? When you're caught in the rain? Or when your ice cream melts? Solutions for Cold Feet is a sweet and gently humorous look at practical and creative answers for all the little daily problems in one young girl's life, including her exuberant and pesky dog. Will her dog, who starts out as a problem, end up as solution?
eview:
This was a cute book about a girl and her dog and the problems they encounter and how they solve them. This is mostly a picture book with a few short phrases about the problems and solutions. It was fun and as the book went on the problems and solutions got sillier and sillier.
The illustrations are fairly simple but work well for the book. I think that this would be a great book for a beginning reader - as it is more picture book than anything but the sentences that are there are interesting ones. I also think that reading this with a young child and talking about how they might solve the problems would be fun, because this is a young girl finding her own solutions. It is also very cute because the dog is her sidekick, yea he does cause some of the problems but it looks like they have fun together.
Overall very cute and now that it is cold out a solution for cold feet is just what we need.
