Mini Review:
This Paranormal Romance was a short book at about 100 pages and it was a pretty easy read. It is about a young girl who is taken from her village and forced into slavery for a vampire master. The plot really focuses on this girl, Catherine, and her journey to an island, sold as a slave, then her first few months with her new master. So nothing too exciting but it was interesting learning about Catherine and her drive to live through this whole ordeal. She is a very strong female lead and although this is called a romance there wasn't really any romance yet. I can see that it will be built into the series though.

Also of note, the next book is from a different point of view. I just got the next book in the series and I am excited to start it and see where it goes from this point. Overall, this was an entertaining read and I am looking forward to continuing the series.
