Building the Book Pile #309

<
Welcome to Building the Book Pile!  A Weekly meme inspired by Stacking the Shelves

Hello Readers, Bloggers, and Awesome people!

Another week down, and we are in August... the time does fly. At work we are gearing up for the students to come back and with that a lot of work to do. I am finishing out my school term today and will have a week off until the next one starts - I finished 2 classes over this summer term and it was great to get so much done but BOY was it a lot of work... too much work lol. I will stick to one a term for a while now while work is ramping back up.

Yesterday we tried river tubing for the first time since we moved up to Vermont, and it was wonderful. We spend 6 hours floating down the Connecticut river and we had music and a cooler float so we had drinks and snacks and it was SO MUCH FUN.... today though we are all feeling it. Even though we slathered with sunscreen AND replied throughout the day, there was still damage. My shins are a purple red and my friend has neon legs too. The boys fared better with regular sunburn that will probably turn into a tan in the next couple days. So not fair.

Regardless, it was a great weekend. Tubing, finishing classes, I even finished a book :)
